• Project files: drawings, specifications, addenda and related documents you send us so we can prepare takeoffs.
• Billing information: invoice and payment records. Card or bank details are handled by our payment providers, and we do not store full card numbers.
• Usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and cookies, collected through Google Analytics.
• Job applications: details you submit through our Careers page.

2. How We Use It

To prepare quotes and deliverables, communicate with you, process payments, provide support and revisions, improve our website and services, hire staff, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Who Can Access It

Our employees and vetted personnel who need it to do the work, and service providers who help us operate (cloud storage, email, software, payment processing, analytics), each bound by confidentiality or data-protection terms. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

4. International Processing

Takeofix is based in India. Your information, including project files, is processed in India and wherever our providers operate. By sending us information, you understand it will be transferred and processed there.

5. AI Tools

We may use software and AI tools to help prepare deliverables. We do not submit confidential or restricted project files to third-party AI tools where that would breach your confidentiality obligations or applicable law, and we ask for your written consent where needed. We do not use your project files to train AI models. If your project is under an NDA or must not be processed by AI, tell us in writing before you send files.

7. Security and Retention

We use commercially reasonable safeguards, including encrypted transmission and secure cloud storage. No system is completely secure. We keep project files for 12 months after delivery to handle revisions and records, then delete or archive them securely. You can ask for earlier deletion at any time, subject to legal and accounting requirements.

8. Cookies

We use cookies for site functionality and analytics. You can block cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work.

9. Your Rights

Depending on where you live (including the US, Canada, UK, EU, Australia and India), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, or to withdraw consent. Email info@takeofix.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” We will respond within 30 days.

10. Children

Our services are for businesses and are not directed to anyone under 16.
